Over the year, there are several different guided tours in the area. See our activity calendar, the QualityTime brochure and Ud på tur (“Outings”) brochure.

If you are planning an outing for a large group of people, contact the tourist office and let us help you organize it. Maybe you would like to visit artists in Western Jutland , maybe a guided tour of Lemvig, or maybe you want to be taken around Thyborøn Harbour by a guide full of tales about life at the harbour.

If you feel like a walk on your own, we suggest a walk along the Planet Path, which is a model of the solar system with the planets and the sun placed on the route correctly spaced and sized on a 1:1 billion scale. The sun and the planets are rendered in bronze and mounted on granite pedestals. The starting point of the path is at Vesterbjerg, and it continues through the park of Lemvig and along the beach. The distance is 7,5 miles. Get a brochure of the Planet Path at the tourist office.

If you stay in Lemvig, we recommend a walk along the Sculpture Path. The path leads through a collection of 54 sculptures by the Lemvig sculptor Torvald Westergaard. The path starts in the garden of Lemvig Museum and leads up the 177 steps that make up the so-called Station Stairs.

The sculptures are placed in beautiful surroundings with a view of the Fiord and the town. The path is about one and a half miles long. Get a brochure of the Sculpture Path at the tourist office.
