Surfing

- Let the wind carry you around on the water…

The Liim Fiord and the North Sea are popular surfing spots.

In the Fiord there is often a good wind, which makes it very suitable for surfing, and the area at Gjellerodde is a particularly popular spot.

Surfing off the West Coast of the North Sea is also popular, but you will need more routine, and it is important to pay attention to the weather, which is often rough. An especially suitable area is at Breakwater Q, which often attracts surfers who do not mind travelling far to find exactly the right kind of waves.

If you want surfing instruction, Lemvig Surfing School offers private tuition and four-hour introductory courses in teams of four persons at a time. The instruction takes place at Lemvig Marina and Lemvig Rowing Club.
