Shelter Sites

In Klosterheden, the large plantation outside Lemvig, in Fjaltring, in Gjellerodde and other places there are shelter sites where you can stay the night. If you wish to book some of the facilities in Klosterheden, such as shelters or tent sites for a child’s birthday party or the like, you need to complete an application form and send it to Klosterhedens Statsskovdistrikt.
There is also a paddock for horses to be found in Klosterheden.
“Hay hotels”
If you are bringing your horse or maybe your dog, there is a “hay hotel” with a paddock and a 4-person cottage to be found at the following address:
