Golf
- Obstacles and a fabulous view…
Situated high above sea level and almost without any growth of trees around it – much like the famous St Andrews Links in Scotland – the 18-hole course of Lemvig Golfing Club commands a fantastic view of Lem Vig (the Inlet of Lem) and of a lake just below. The course is well-kept and the rough is “exciting”. The club also has a 6-hole, 3-par course where pay-to-play golfers are welcome.
Lemvig Golfing Club, which is situated only about a mile outside Lemvig, and which was designed by the Danish architect Frederik Dreyer is well-spaced for green-fee players and local club members alike. In the new club house from 2005, there are locker rooms and showers. The club house is also where the Golf Café and the Golf Shop is found. Owing to its partnership with the golf club, Hotel Nørre Vinkel provides favourable accommodation offers in connection with golfing holidays. See www.golfcenter.dk for more information.
