Beaches
- Along the Liim Fiord and the North Sea...
The North Sea:
Here you can enjoy the many white sand beaches and the clean bathing water. However, the
sea can be violent and unpredictable – so remember to follow the instructions in the folder containing advice about bathing in the sea (Danish title: Baderåd ved havet.) The folder is
available at all tourist offices in the area. Read more about bathing tips.
The Liim Fiord:
You can bathe everywhere in the Liim Fiord. The water is clean, but in some places there are
quite a lot of stones on the beach, so we recommend using bathing shoes.

Beach numbers
Notice the small green signs with beach numbers at the edge of the dune. In case of accident, you need to report the number when you contact the rescue crew. The number enables them to quickly find the scene of the accident.
