There are many art galleries and skilful artist-craftsmen in this area, and it is no wonder that there are so many artists in the Lemvig area. The light, the wind and the fascinating landscape is a daily source of inspiration. In this place the sky is high.

Open Doors
The last weekend of August, a lot of local artists open up their exciting and colourful studios, workshops and shops. You can visit them and see the many different works of art from various genres, such as glass, pottery, stone sculptures, paintings, jewellery, icons and many others. From mid-August, a programme containing all the addresses of the artists is available at the tourist office.

Hornvarefabrikken (the Horn Craft Manufacturer) in Bøvlingbjerg, 2 Åbrinkvej, phone: 97885079. Visit Denmark ’s only horn craft manufacturer and have a close-up experience of the traditional old horn craft in the open workshop. A selection of handmade articles and horn and ceramic crafts are on display in the exhibition room. The workshop and the exhibition are open to visitors all year.
