Active Holiday in the Air
- Gliding quietly through the air…
In several places in the area, there are fine paragliding possibilities. The lift of the wind at the high cliffs on the West Coast and along the Liim Fiord creates fine possibilities of becoming airborne.
Paragliding at Bovbjerg
On the 130-foot-high clay cliffs facing the North Sea about 10 miles west of Lemvig between Ferring and Trans, there are good possibilities and often a fine wind. A popular paragliding spot every year.
Paragliding at Toftum Bjerge (The Hills of Toftum)
About ten miles east of Lemvig, the Hills of Toftum are situated with 164-foot-high coastal cliffs facing the Liim Fiord. Also a popular paragliding spot.
Sightseeing Flights
You can get to see the whole area from above if you take a sightseeing flight. They are organized by Rom Airfield just south of Lemvig in June and August.
